Privacy, item by item.
Petites Gouttes keeps your milk inventory and settings on your device. The app has no developer-operated account, analytics service, advertising system or backend.
- No tracking
- No app analytics
- Local inventory
- Exports only by choice
Scope
This policy covers the Petites Gouttes apps for iOS and Android and the public Petites Gouttes website. It describes the production app as of the date above.
Petites Gouttes is an inventory tool, not feeding or health advice. It does not require a name, account, profile or contact details to use the app.
Data in the app
The information you enter can include milk volume, pumping and best-before dates, whether and when a bag was removed, storage names, reminder times, stock thresholds and display preferences. Random local identifiers keep records distinct.
On iOS, records are stored with SwiftData and preferences with UserDefaults. On Android, records are stored with Room and preferences with DataStore. This data is used only to show your inventory, history, estimates, reports and settings on your device.
The app does not send this inventory to the developer and does not use a developer-operated server. Depending on your operating-system settings, Apple or Google may include app data in a device backup; those backup services are controlled by the operating-system provider.
Local reminders
On iOS, if you enable a storage reminder and grant notification permission, Petites Gouttes schedules it through the device notification system. The reminder time, storage label and notification content remain on the device. The developer does not run a push-notification server.
Turning a reminder off removes its pending local notification. Revoking notification permission is managed in iOS Settings.
Exports and imports
Petites Gouttes creates an export only when you choose that action. Depending on the platform and unlocked features, this can be a JSON backup, a CSV report or a PDF report. The operating-system file picker lets you choose where the file goes; the app does not upload it to the developer.
An import reads only the JSON file you select and processes it locally. Once you save or share an exported file, the destination you choose controls its copy. You are responsible for protecting and deleting exported files.
Purchases through Apple
The iOS app can request optional tip products and Family Toolkit product or entitlement information through Apple StoreKit. If you buy or restore a product, Apple processes the transaction. Petites Gouttes reads Apple's verified transaction or entitlement result so it can finish the purchase or unlock the applicable feature.
The developer does not receive your payment-card details. Apple's processing is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
Website and support
The public site is hosted on GitHub Pages. It has no analytics, advertising pixels or tracking scripts. GitHub necessarily processes connection data to deliver a page, and the marketing pages can load App Store screenshots from Apple's content-delivery network, under those providers' own policies.
The support form uses Formspree. Nothing is sent to Formspree merely because you use the app. If you submit the form, Formspree receives the email address, message, optional app version and app identifier shown in the form so the developer can reply. Please do not include milk-inventory details or other sensitive information.
Support messages are kept only as reasonably needed to answer and handle the request; Formspree also applies its own service retention and privacy terms. If you do not submit the form, the developer receives none of those fields.
What is not done
- No cross-app or cross-site tracking.
- No behavioural analytics, advertising SDK or data broker.
- No sale of personal information and no sharing for targeted advertising.
- No proprietary cloud account or developer database for your inventory.
The iOS privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected-data categories. It declares UserDefaults access for app preferences.
Your choices
You can edit or delete inventory records in the app, disable reminders, decline optional purchases and choose not to use the support form. Uninstalling the app removes its local container from the device, subject to any operating-system backup you control. Exported copies must be deleted wherever you saved them.
If this policy changes because the product changes, the updated text and date will be published on this page before or with the relevant release.
Contact
For a privacy question or deletion request concerning a support message, use the Petites Gouttes support form. This is the same Formspree submission described above.
