NeatShift is a household chore management app developed by Benjamin Dupin. Your privacy is important, and NeatShift is designed to keep your data under your control at all times.
All data you enter in NeatShift — including household information, tasks, zones, occupants, and completion history — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. The developer does not have access to any of your data.
If you have iCloud enabled, NeatShift uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data across your devices signed into the same Apple Account. You can also share your household with other people via iCloud sharing. This sync is handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure. The developer does not operate any servers and cannot access your synced data.
You can disable iCloud sync for NeatShift in your device's Settings under iCloud. For details on how Apple handles iCloud data, refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
NeatShift does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:
NeatShift can send local notifications to remind you of your daily tasks. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and no notification data is transmitted externally. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the app's settings.
Since all data resides on your device (and optionally in your personal iCloud account), you have full control over it. You can delete all app data at any time using the "Reset App" option in Settings or by uninstalling NeatShift. To remove synced data from iCloud, manage your iCloud storage through your device's Settings.
NeatShift does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
